On August 28, 2025, a workshop on first aid for movable cultural heritage will take place in Kyiv. The event will be led by certified art restorers from the National Research Restoration Center of Ukraine and the National Cultural Rescue Team.
Participants will learn how to rescue, stabilize, pack, and properly store unique museum artifacts, archives, library treasures, and artworks. Timely response after damage during wartime can be crucial for preserving cultural heritage.
The workshop opens a rapid response training course for cultural heritage protection as part of the Agency for Cultural Resilience (ACURE) project “Ukraine, Emergency Triage & Training Depot” and the activities of the Black Sea Regional Hub (CER).
