The Mobile Laboratory continues its work in Dnipro. This time, the team of the Time Machines Technical Museum has begun digitizing archival photographic materials using a set of professional scanners provided by the Agency.

Before the start of the project, Mobile Laboratory experts conducted an introductory training session for museum staff on working with flatbed and book scanners. The training and initial digitization process took place under challenging conditions, without electricity due to emergency power outages following shelling.

It is especially encouraging to receive participation requests from museum professionals who, despite the difficulties of wartime, continue their work and care deeply about preserving historical memory.

The Time Machines Technical Museum focuses on collecting and researching the history of automotive and motorcycle transport and holds one of the finest collections of vintage vehicles in Ukraine. The museum has repeatedly suffered damage as a result of Russian shelling of Dnipro: parts of the vehicle collection were damaged, and the museum building itself was affected.

We wish the team of the Time Machines Technical Museum and its founder, Mykhailo Prudnykov, inspired and productive work, and we are pleased to share photos from the team’s visit to Dnipro.
