The Mobile Digital Laboratory (MOCEL) project of the Agency for Cultural Resilience continues its journey across museums in Ukraine. Currently, the digitization of collections is underway at the Holodomor Resistance Museum, a municipal institution of the Dnipro City Council.
The Agency’s team provided the museum with professional digitization equipment, including an A3 flatbed scanner for documents and photographs, as well as a copy stand for digitizing books and printed materials.
This equipment enables the museum to create high-quality digital copies of important historical sources, ensuring their preservation, accessibility, and future use in research, educational, and cultural initiatives.
The Holodomor Resistance Museum has become the 14th institution to join the Mobile Digital Laboratory project, which aims to strengthen the protection of cultural heritage and the digital resilience of museums during wartime.
The MOCEL project is curated by Ihor Poshyvailo and implemented with the support of international partners — Cultural Emergency Response, the ALIPH Foundation, and the Netherlands National Archives (Nationaal Archief).
